Spring Leaf You can specify if you want, the same filename for different mapping templates if they are identical. This is often the case with Lambda resolvers for example.

Concerning, template generation from a JS script, this is something we have discussed internally and that we will probably implement at some point. Feel free to open an issue or even a PR for that :)
